The Grok Bot trial
- Who runs it
- Cursor. You claim it with a free Cursor account, in the desktop app or on the web.
- What you get
- A usage credit, spent by the work your Bots do, inside a 7-day window.
- When it ends
- Nothing is charged. This trial never becomes a paid plan. Your Bots stop replying until the account has a plan.
- To cancel
- You don't need to. To end it early, open Settings > Usage & Billing and choose Cancel Trial. The credit that's left is removed, and the account can't claim the trial again.
Apple's intro offer
- Who runs it
- Apple. It starts when you pick a plan inside the iPhone or iPad app and confirm it with the App Store.
- What you get
- A free period at the start of a monthly subscription that Apple bills.
- When it ends
- It turns into a paid Apple subscription, unless you cancel before the last day.
- To cancel
- On your iPhone, go to Apple ID → Subscriptions and cancel before the trial ends. Cursor can't cancel or refund it for you. Refunds go through Apple.
An Enterprise trial
- Who runs it
- Your company's Cursor admin, who starts it for the whole team from the Cursor dashboard.
- What you get
- Grok Bot on your work account, with usage managed by your admin.
- When it ends
- It's counted in days. Your admin sees how many are left on the dashboard's Overview. What follows is agreed between your company and Cursor.
- To cancel
- There's nothing for you to cancel. Cancel Trial shows only on free accounts. Questions about the trial go to your admin.
The Android app has no trial of its own
- Who runs it
- Nobody. Google Play offers no free period for Grok Bot.
- What you get
- A plan picked inside the Android app is a paid Google Play subscription, with no trial in front of it.
- When it ends
- It renews every month until you cancel it.
- To cancel
- In the Google Play app, go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. To try Grok Bot without paying, claim the Grok Bot trial on a computer or on the web.
