Watch for: Ultra is the top tier, and SuperGrok Heavy is the same tier, so adding Heavy gives you no more. When a week runs out, on-demand usage is the way to keep going.

Not included

Do this: Pick one. Upgrade to SuperGrok and link it to a Cursor account, or leave Grok as it is and subscribe to Cursor Pro.
It costs: SuperGrok is $30 a month, in place of the $10 a month you pay for Lite. Cursor Pro is $20 a month, on top of Lite.

Do this: Sign in to Grok Bot with the Cursor account that's on the team. You don't need a Premium seat, and you don't need to ask an admin.
It costs: Nothing extra on the seat. A Standard seat is $40 per user per month and a Premium seat is $120 per user per month.
Usage: "Follows the Teams plan allowance"Cursor's wording for this tier.
Watch for: On-demand usage is on by default on Teams, so work past the allowance is billed as extra. A team on a legacy request-based plan, or on Privacy Mode (Legacy), doesn't get Grok Bot.

Admin turns it on

Do this: Ask your Cursor admin to turn Grok Bot on for the team at cursor.com/dashboard/bot. Then sign in to Grok Bot with your work account.
It costs: A custom price, agreed between your company and Cursor. It isn't published.
Usage: "Managed by your admin"Cursor's wording for this tier.
Watch for: An Enterprise seat doesn't take a personal SuperGrok link.

Not included

Do this: These two plans can't be linked: a link takes an individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy or X Premium+ account. A team gets Grok Bot through Cursor Teams.
It costs: Cursor Teams starts at $40 per user per month, for a Standard seat.
Usage: "Follows the Teams plan allowance"Cursor's wording for this tier.
Watch for: On Cursor Teams every member gets Grok Bot, with or without a Premium seat.

Cheapest way in

Do this: Make a Cursor account and subscribe to Cursor Pro. Then sign in to Grok Bot with that account.
It costs: $20 a month. No route costs less. On the Grok side the cheapest is SuperGrok at $30 a month.

Watch for: The free plans, Cursor Hobby and free Grok, don't include Grok Bot. A free Cursor account can claim a trial before you pay.
